The typical "bring in the consultant" routine
Short version – if you are looking for a partner that is a typical consultant, we’re not interested. A typical engagement involves a consultant flying in, sharing notably valuable information, leaving and clients executing on about 30% of what is suggested. In the end, the client is frustrated at “wasting money on a consultant,” and the consultant points back to the client not taking all the advice.
Our clients know that we take unheeded input personally, and we will hold you accountable. We are not always right, but we expect a conversation and a mutual exploration of how to get better. We are not a mistress….we’re a partner.
Your shopping for an "affordable" consultant
There are thousands of consultants that are more affordable than Nuance. If price is your concern, we are not a fit. Clients of Nuance can expect to pay a minimum of $350 per consulting hour and up to $5,000 per day for specific programs.
We do NOT, however, charge fractional hours for follow-ups to engagements. We want our clients to see value in what we do, and sometimes that means we do some re-work as part of the original deal.
If you plan to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP)
We do not respond to RFP’s. When you are ready to have a mutual exploration of needs to determine fit, give us a call and we will provide as much information as needed to make a good decision.
You want to apply our approach to areas outside of what we do
Our value is rooted in our experience. That experience has led to a business approach many find “refreshing” and would like to apply to areas outside of where we typically engage.
And we’d love to help….but…..we can’t.
We stick to what we know and where we have expertise. While our approach may be enticing, it is best suited for our focus areas.
